Um.no.because we were informed the wait for lunch was over an hour and they would be closing by the time they could seat us. Back to the restaurant to wait for lunch. Our Haven Spa Suite was very nice, great size, lots of storage, small Jacuzzi tub, but o.k. We were starving however and couldn't wait to get into the Haven restaurant - I had read all the reviews and was really looking forward to starting my vacation ! Well the lady at the desk informed us they would not be open for at least another hour. We were brought to the Haven Lounge - ordered some drinks, checked the area out, some waiters came out with sliders- they were o.k. we are going to keep positive - We were only waiting a short time when the NCL folks started boarding the Haven guests - Yay !. We got to the area for Haven guests waiting to board - yea.not so great - standing room only and the refreshment table was already picked over, nothing left - not even coffee. Things started out great, as when we got to the cruise port we were walked past the long lines to the Haven check-in. So great we have the Haven ? No, not really when there are kids running around, taking up the hot tubs and generally making a lot of noise. You could not find a good seat anywhere near the main pools, it was really LOUD and crazy. All the reviews we read about the main ship area's being busy.were correct. We decided to spend the money on the Haven since we were looking for some quiet time. I am wondering how the balcony is on these cabins b/c on the drawings. It's an easy trip for us - take the train from Poughkeepsie, cab ride to the port - quick and relatively painless. 1 Posted JHas anyone stayed in any of these cabins I have checked Cabin Reviews and there were no reviews. For our 8th cruise we booked NCL's Breakaway out of NYC.
